Ciudad Encantada

Ciudad Encantada is a natural karst site of weathered limestone rock formations near the city of Cuenca in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, notable for its sculpted shapes and popular as a short walking destination. The area is presented as an open-air geological park with named formations and interpretation.

A waymarked circuit leads past dozens of eroded limestone blocks and pillars that have been likened to animals, figures and architectural forms; panels identify many of the best-known shapes.
