Cima Brenta is a prominent peak in the Brenta Dolomites of Trentino, northern Italy, rising to approximately 3,151 metres above sea level. It is one of the principal summits in the Brenta group and a landmark within the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park.
The Brenta peaks have long been visited by alpinists since the 19th century as part of the development of Dolomites mountaineering; Cima Brenta features in accounts of early climbs and the development of local route networks.
Cima Brenta lies in western Trentino within the Brenta Dolomites subgroup of the Southern Limestone Alps and is inside the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park, approached from valleys that lead up from towns such as Madonna di Campiglio.

How to Get to Cima Brenta #
From Trento, drive west on the SS240/SS12 and then follow local roads toward Madonna di Campiglio and the Val Brenta trailheads. Mountain approaches require a mountain guide or experienced hiking gear; nearest main access points are the towns around Madonna di Campiglio.
