From Mendoza city, drive west on National Route 7 toward Uspallata for roughly 170 km; from Santiago, Chile, follow Route 60 and the Carretera Internacional toward the same pass (border crossing formalities apply). The monument sits near the international frontier-parking is roadside and facilities are minimal. Expect gravel approaches and a brief uphill walk from the parking area.
