Chillagoe-Mungana Caves National Park

Chillagoe-Mungana Caves National Park is a protected area in inland Far North Queensland that conserves extensive limestone karst and cave systems. The park is closely associated with the town of Chillagoe and its historic mining landscape.

Multiple limestone caves with large chambers and calcite formations, karst features on the surface, and nearby mining-era ruins. People visit for cave tours at developed sites, bushwalking on local tracks and to view geological and historic features.
