Château Latour

Château Latour is a premier Bordeaux wine estate in the Pauillac commune, best known as one of the five First Growths designated in the 1855 classification. The estate takes its name from a medieval tower that remains a distinctive feature of the property.

The domaine comprises the château buildings, cellars and extensive vineyards that produce the estate’s flagship Grand Vin and other wines; vineyard holdings cover roughly 78 hectares. Wine production and maturation take place in purpose-built cellars and barrel ageing facilities on site.

The estate’s recorded prominence dates from the commercial and classification history of Bordeaux in the 19th century, culminating in the 1855 classification where it was ranked as a top growth.
