Château de Saché is a small château in Saché, Indre-et-Loire, known principally as a residence associated with the novelist Honoré de Balzac. The building now functions in part as a museum devoted to his life and work.
The château dates from earlier centuries and was occupied by Balzac in the 19th century when he used it as a retreat and wrote portions of his work there. Subsequent conversion into a museum preserved the association with the author.
The château is situated in the small town of Saché in Indre-et-Loire, around 20 km east of Tours in the Loire Valley region and surrounded by rural countryside.
