Château de Ferrières

Château de Ferrières is a large 19th-century château in Ferrières-en-Brie, Île-de-France, commissioned by the Rothschild family as a grand country residence. It is one of the better-known examples of high-Victorian/Second Empire domestic scale in the Paris region.

The site is noted for its vast main building and formal parkland rather than a single monument interior; visitors and event guests encounter grand reception rooms, long axial views and extensive landscaped grounds. The estate is used for private events and hospitality education activities, so public access is typically by appointment or during specific open days and events.
