Chaîne des Puys - Limagne fault tectonic arena

The Chaîne des Puys - Limagne fault tectonic arena is a geological UNESCO site in central France that includes a north-south chain of volcanic cones and domes and the adjacent Limagne rift valley. It is significant for demonstrating interactions between recent volcanism and tectonic processes in a continental setting.
