How to Get to Cegléd
Cegléd lies on a busy rail corridor southeast of Budapest and is easiest to reach by train from Budapest Keleti. The town has regular rail services and local buses for short hops; trains are generally the best option for visitors.
Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD): The nearest major airport is Budapest (about 60-80 km from Cegléd). From BUD take a bus or train to Budapest Keleti (or Kelenföld) then an MÁV regional train to Cegléd (journey from Budapest Keleti to Cegléd ~45-60 minutes).
Debrecen / regional airports: Debrecen and other regional fields are further away and less convenient; Budapest is the main international gateway for Cegléd visitors.
