Cattai National Park is a protected area in New South Wales that conserves Hawkesbury River floodplain, creek corridors and an early colonial homestead precinct. The park includes both natural riverine habitats and cultural heritage sites.
Visitors can use riverside picnic areas, short walking tracks and viewpoints over the Hawkesbury River and adjacent wetlands. The park’s mix of river flats, woodlands and heritage buildings makes it popular for day visits, bushwalking and low-key boating access.
The park contains the Cattai Homestead, an early 19th-century farm complex that is preserved as a historic site within the park and interpreted for visitors. The landscape reflects both Aboriginal and colonial-era land use along the Hawkesbury.
