The airport uses a single passenger terminal building with separate areas for arrivals and departures and a mix of domestic and international operations under one roof. Basic passenger processing (check-in, security and immigration for international flights) is handled within the same building. There are no airside inter-terminal transfers because the airport has just one terminal.

The airport is very close to Trujillo city centre - expect 10-20 minutes by road. Main ground options are taxis, local buses/collectivos, and rented cars.

• Buses: Local city buses and colectivos serve routes into Trujillo; stops are landside and schedules are informal.
• Taxis: Official taxis are available at the arrivals forecourt; fares to central Trujillo are typically modest (local-currency cash preferred).
• Ride-share: Uber and similar apps operate in Peru and can be used where available, though pickup points may be landside only.
• Driving: Short drive to city centre; car rentals are available from desks at the terminal.

The terminal is small with basic passenger facilities suited to short-haul operations.

• Lounges: Limited lounge options; most passengers use seating areas in the departure hall.
• Food & drink: A small selection of cafes and fast-food outlets landside and airside.
• Wi‑Fi: Public Wi‑Fi and mobile coverage are generally available but can be limited in speed.
• Charging: Some charging points and power outlets in the gate area; bring a mains adapter if needed.
• Luggage: Basic baggage handling and car-rental desks present; long-term left-luggage services are not commonly advertised.

There are multiple city-center hotels a short drive from the airport; most are reached by taxi in 10-20 minutes. The airport itself does not have a large on-site hotel. For long layovers, consider booking a day room in Trujillo’s central hotels rather than waiting at the small terminal.
