Cape Tribulation is a headland and small locality within Daintree National Park on the tropical northeastern coast of Queensland, Australia. It is notable for being one of the places where tropical rainforest reaches the shoreline.

The area is visited for its beaches, short rainforest walks and access to coastal lookouts. Nearby walking tracks pass through lowland tropical rainforest and there are public beach areas popular for day visits; local operators also provide guided walks and eco-tour activities.

The cape was named by Lieutenant James Cook in 1770 during his voyage along Australia’s east coast. Since European naming it has become part of protected national park areas and a focal point for ecotourism in the Wet Tropics.

Geographically the headland sits on the north Queensland coast within the Wet Tropics World Heritage area, about 110 kilometres north of Cairns by road. The surrounding landscape includes low coastal rainforest, beaches and the Coral Sea offshore.
