How to Get to Byron Bay

Byron Bay is easiest reached by flying into the nearby Ballina Byron Gateway Airport (BNK) or by coach from Brisbane or the Gold Coast; Brisbane and Gold Coast airports are also commonly used for international arrivals. There is no direct intercity rail service into Byron Bay, so many visitors use airport shuttles, intercity coaches or drive.
