The Buenos Aires Japanese Gardens are a formal Japanese-style garden complex located in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, opened in 1967 and occupying roughly 2.7 hectares within the city’s larger parkland. The gardens were created by the local Japanese-Argentine community and are one of the largest Japanese gardens in South America.

Features include large koi ponds with arched bridges, a waterfall, a traditional tea house used for cultural demonstrations and a notable bonsai collection. Paths wind through plantings chosen and arranged in Japanese garden style, and small stone lanterns and sculptures are placed across the grounds.
