How to Get to Brusque
Brusque is served primarily via nearby regional airports (Navegantes is the closest) and by intercity bus connections through Itajaí, Blumenau and Joinville. Most visitors fly into Navegantes or drive/bus from larger hubs and continue by road to the city.
Navegantes-Ministro Victor Konder (NVT): The closest commercial airport to Brusque (about 30-40 km). From Navegantes you can take intercity buses toward Brusque from the airport/Itajaí bus stops (typical fare R$10-15, journey ~35-50 minutes) or taxis/ride‑hail services (approx R$80-140, 30-45 minutes).
Joinville-Lauro Carneiro de Loyola (JOI) / Florianópolis-Hercílio Luz (FLN): Both are used by visitors when schedules/prices differ. From Joinville expect a longer transfer by intercity bus (buses to Itajaí/Blumenau then local connection; ~1-1.5 hours, ~R$25-45) or by taxi/transfer (higher cost). From Florianópolis the trip is longer (1.5-2.5 hours by road) and usually cheaper by scheduled bus from Florianópolis bus terminal (prices vary seasonally).
