Bridge Pa

Bridge Pa is a rural locality and wine-producing district in Hawke’s Bay on New Zealand’s North Island, situated near the city of Hastings. The area is notable for its concentrated vineyards and cellar doors, often referred to as the Bridge Pa Triangle wine area.

Wine tourists visit for cellar-door tastings, small commercial wineries, and vineyard tours that focus on Bordeaux-style red blends and Syrah. The district contains a cluster of producers and viticultural sites within a relatively compact area, making it easy to visit multiple cellar doors in a single outing.

Located inland from the Hawke’s Bay coast, Bridge Pa sits a short drive west of the city of Hastings and is within easy reach of Napier and other central Hawke’s Bay towns. The landscape is low-lying farmland and vineyard country.
