Bowling Green Bay National Park is a coastal national park in northern Queensland, Australia, that protects extensive wetlands and estuarine systems. The park includes low-lying coastal plains, tidal flats and mangrove communities important for birdlife.
The park is notable for its wetland habitats which are used by migratory and resident waterbirds; large flat coastal areas are seasonally inundated. Access is generally by road from nearby coastal settlements and the area is used for birdwatching and limited bushwalking.
The park lies on Queensland’s northeast coast within the regional coastline south-east of Townsville, set among coastal plains and river deltas leading to the Coral Sea.
