Benzú Travel Guide
City Coastal village in Ceuta, near Moroccan border
Perched at Europe’s edge, Benzú blends Spanish town and Moroccan foothold: cliffside paths, small fish stalls and the tense border crossing. People come for rugged walks, cross-border markets and seafood grilled over charcoal.
Why Visit Benzú? #
On the thin strip of Spanish enclave facing the Moroccan Rif, Benzú intrigues visitors with a crossroads atmosphere where Andalusian and North African flavors meet. Salted seafood, flaky Moroccan pastries and neighborhood markets give a culinary edge to a small fishing port. Nearby Ceuta’s fortress and the border crossings create sharp contrasts between cultures and architectures. Good for travelers who enjoy cross-border walks, coastal views and mixing teahouse ambience with seaside breezes.
