How to Get to Barendrecht#
Barendrecht is a commuter town just south-east of Rotterdam with excellent rail links via Barendrecht station. The fastest air route is via Rotterdam The Hague or Schiphol with simple train transfers to reach the town.
Rotterdam The Hague Airport (RTM): The closest airport; from RTM to Barendrecht it’s a short drive (20-30 minutes). Taxis and regional buses connect the airport to Rotterdam central, where onward rail or metro takes you to Barendrecht.
Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (AMS): Major international airport with fast train connections. Take the NS intercity/train from Schiphol to Rotterdam Centraal (about 25-30 minutes) and change for a short local train to Barendrecht.
