By Air

Balatonboglár by Budapest Airport (BUD): International visitors usually fly into Budapest Ferenc Liszt (BUD) and continue by train or car to Balatonboglár on Lake Balaton (approx. 1.5-2.5 hours by road/train). From BUD use airport bus 100E to central Budapest (900 HUF, ~40 min) and then a direct or transfer train toward Siófok/Balatonszentgyörgy and Balatonboglár.

Ferihegy / Regional options: There are no closer major international airports with frequent scheduled flights; some travellers arrive via Vienna or Bratislava and continue by train or car across Hungary.

By Train & Bus

Train: MÁV and Hungarian intercity trains run from Budapest (Déli/Keleti/Kelenföld) to Balatonboglár, usually via Siófok or Székesfehérvár depending on route; journey time from Budapest is roughly 1.5-2.5 hours.
