Badger Island is an island in Bass Strait off the north-east coast of Tasmania, Australia. It forms part of the small Badger Group within the Furneaux Group of islands.
The island is remote and sparsely populated, used historically for grazing and sporting leases and noted locally for seabird and coastal habitats. There are no major visitor facilities on the island.
Administratively it is part of Tasmania and lies in Bass Strait to the north-east of mainland Tasmania and to the west of Flinders Island.
Visitors should plan transport and safety carefully, as access is by private boat and there are no services on the island.
