Babelsberg Palace is a 19th-century palace in the Babelsberg district of Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany, and part of the Palaces and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin UNESCO World Heritage ensemble. The complex combines a neo-Gothic palace building with extensive landscaped parkland.
The site includes the principal palace building, designed in the Romantic period, and the surrounding park which provides structured views down to the Havel River and the Jungfernsee. The palace and park are visited for architecture, landscape design and riverside vistas.
The palace was built in the early to mid 19th century for Prussian royal patrons and was designed with input from leading architects and landscape designers of the period. The park was laid out to complement the palace and to provide a sequence of viewpoints and garden compositions.

From central Potsdam: take tram 96 or bus 695 to the ‘Babelsberg Schloss’ stop; it’s a 5-10 minute walk from there. From Berlin, regional trains (RE1) stop at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof; from the Hauptbahnhof take tram 96 or a short taxi (15-20 minutes). Driving: follow B1/B2 into Potsdam and signs for Schlosspark Babelsberg; limited parking near the park.

- Enter the palace grounds from Glienicker Straße/Schlosspark Babelsberg for the gentlest approach and best first sightlines of the terraces.
- If visiting the park as well, allow 60-90 minutes to walk the artificial ruins, hilltop viewpoints and the riverside promenade.
