Arena Kombëtare

Arena Kombëtare, also known as the National Arena, is the principal football stadium in Tirana, Albania, built on the site of the former national stadium and opened in 2019. It is the home ground for the Albania national football team and is used for top-level domestic football matches.

The stadium contains a full-size pitch, tiered seating and modern facilities for players, media and guests, including hospitality suites and mixed zones for teams and press. It replaced an older stadium on the same site and meets international match standards for UEFA fixtures.

Construction took place in the late 2010s as part of a redevelopment project to provide a modern national stadium; the new arena consolidated national team fixtures and major domestic matches in Tirana.

It stands in central Tirana within the city’s sports district and is accessible by road and public transport from across the city.
