Alpe di Succiso is a mountain in the northern Apennines within Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region. It is part of the Apennine ridge that separates northern Italian drainage basins and is frequented by hikers and mountain walkers.
The mountain is accessed by marked mountain trails and sits within a landscape of alpine pastures, rocky ridges and forested slopes typical of the Tosco-Emilian Apennines. Routes to the summit are used in summer and early autumn by day-hikers and as part of longer ridge traverses.
