The Alcázar of Jerez de la Frontera is a fortified palace complex in the historic centre of Jerez, Andalusia, with origins in the medieval Islamic period. It is notable for its surviving defensive walls, a watchtower and preserved Islamic baths.

The complex presents a compact ensemble of fortifications, enclosed courtyards, irrigated gardens and an on-site sequence of medieval baths that illustrate Islamic urban architecture. The main tower provides elevated views over Jerez’s old town and the nearby cathedral. Visitors typically tour the walls, inner courtyards and the excavated bath chambers in a 30-60 minute visit.

Constructed in the medieval Islamic period, the Alcázar was adapted after the Christian conquest of Jerez in the 13th century with additions and changes to its internal buildings.
