Held at Balloon Fiesta Park with the Sandia Mountains as a dramatic backdrop, the festival features daily Dawn Patrols, mass ascensions where hundreds launch in timed waves, special-shape exhibitions, evening glows, vendor rows and crowd-friendly displays. The atmosphere ranges from quiet pre-dawn pilot prep to loud, festival-style evenings with food stalls and live announcements.
