Aguiguan (Aguijan), south of Tinian in the Mariana chain, is a small largely uninhabited island; boaters and birdwatchers visit for seabird colonies and snorkeling along rocky shores, with limited access.
Aguiguan (also spelled Aguijan) is a small, uninhabited island in the Northern Mariana Islands, administered as part of Tinian Municipality. The island is limestone in origin, lies just south of Tinian and has no permanent population.
Historically it has been used intermittently for grazing and small-scale subsistence activities by nearby islanders; today it is largely a wildlife refuge with seabird colonies and native vegetation. Access is by small boat from Tinian and visits are infrequent.
Geographically it sits a short distance south of the island of Tinian in the western Pacific and is part of the Northern Mariana archipelago.

How to Get to Aguiguan #
Aguiguan is reached by private boat from Tinian. There are no regular ferry services; visits should be coordinated with licensed local skippers familiar with the reefed approach and local weather patterns.

- If attempting a visit (rare and restricted), coordinate with Tinian authorities - Aguiguan is administered as part of Tinian Municipality.
- The island is known locally as Goat Island; there is no infrastructure - plan for a self-contained day trip and respect local conservation rules.
- Because of currents and coral reefs, only experienced small-boat operators should attempt landings.

Best accessed in the dry season with competent local operators; otherwise the island is largely inaccessible.
