AFAS Live is a dedicated concert and live-music venue in the Amsterdam-Zuidoost entertainment district, originally opened as the Heineken Music Hall in 2001. It is a mid-sized indoor arena known for contemporary music events and touring acts.
The venue houses a large main hall with flexible standing and seating arrangements and is acoustically tuned for amplified concerts. It is part of the ArenA location and shares the area with the nearby Johan Cruijff ArenA and transport hubs.
Opened in 2001 as the Heineken Music Hall, the arena established itself as a regular stop for international tours and club-scale productions. The venue was rebranded as AFAS Live in 2017.
Situated in Amsterdam-Zuidoost beside the Johan Cruijff ArenA, the venue is adjacent to the Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station and is easily reached by metro, train, and bus from central Amsterdam.
