Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO): From Porto Airport take the metro (Line E) or the airport shuttle to Porto Campanhã/Campo 24 de Agosto then change to a Rede Expressos bus to Viseu. Typical metro fare from the airport into Porto is €2.00 (about 35-40 minutes to Campanhã); Rede Expressos Porto-Viseu buses take roughly 2-2½ hours and normally cost about €12-15.
Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS): From Lisbon Airport you can catch a direct Rede Expressos bus to Viseu (journey ~3-3½ hours, fares typically €20-25) or take a train from Lisbon’s Oriente/Campo Grande to Coimbra or Porto and change to a bus connection to Viseu.
Train: Viseu does not have a regular national rail service. The nearest major railway stations are Porto Campanhã and Coimbra-B (served by CP/Comboios de Portugal).
