Langmusi Travel Guide

Langmusi is a tranquil Tibetan style village located in the north of Sichuan Province, famous for its natural beauty.

Although not the liveliest of places, this is a good place for relaxing and taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Hiking and trekking are the main pastimes here, although there are also a couple of interesting temples to visit while in the area.

Langmusi is inhabited by a mix of Han Chinese, Hui and Tibetans, making this an interesting place to explore for those who are interested in culture. There is plenty of basic accommodation available and waking up here can be an invigorating experience, although visitors shouldn’t expect much nightlife as the village tends to sleep early.

This is also a good place to try Tibetan dishes, while a number of popular backpacker dishes are also available. Simply spend a day or two relaxing and recharging before heading back to one of the area’s cities.
