Phu Quoc National Park Travel Guide
Phu Quoc National Park is a sizeable protected area on Phu Quoc Island that covers around half of the land and much of the surrounding sea. It is a must-visit for anyone in the area.

There are all types of landscapes in Phu Quoc National Park, including beaches, mangrove forests, wet lands, and rocky hills. There is also, of course, an abundance of animals including scores of bird species. One of the best spots in the park is the road close to Ganh Dau.
Although the walking trails are somewhat limited, there is a very good one a few kilometers before Ganh Dau. It is a nice wide trail with a decent canopy which keeps out the heat. If you find yourself in the northerly villages of Ganh Dau, Cua Cạn, or Rach Vem, these are not within the park.
Travel to Phu Quoc National Park - Getting There
The most realistic way to get to Phu Quoc Island for those in Ho Chi Minh City is to fly into the small airport at Duong Dong. Flight time is under an hour from Ho Chi Minh City Airport. You can also fly from Rach Gia on the mainland (20 minutes), while ferries run in the mornings from both Rach Gia and Ha Tien farther north.
