How to Get to My An Beach#
My An Beach (Bãi biển Mỹ An) is on the Da Nang coastline (the My An/My Khe stretch). It’s most easily reached from Da Nang city by taxi or local bus; from Da Nang International Airport the beach is a short drive of around 5-7 km (roughly 10-20 minutes by car depending on traffic), and it’s only a few kilometres from Da Nang city centre across the Han River.
Tips for Visiting My An Beach#
- Plan a visit in the early morning for calm water and softer light, or late afternoon for sunset views; mid-day is both hottest and busiest on My An's long sandy stretch.
- Use the main coastal access roads along the hotel strip to reach public access points rather than trying to cut through private properties-there are several short public stairways and ramps to the beach.
- Avoid weekends and public holidays if you want a quieter stretch of sand; weekday mornings give you the best combination of space and calm sea for photography or a less crowded stroll.
