Cua Dai Beach Travel Guide

Cua Dai Beach is found in the Vietnamese province of Quang Nam, five kilometers northeast of Hoi An. It features fine white sand, clear blue water, small waves and moderate slopes.

This popular beach is over 3kms in length and up to 300 meters in width; however, it continues all the way to Da Nang, an unbelievable 30kms of immaculate white sands. Cua Dai is the nearest beach to Hoi An, and tourists come here after having visited the relics in the ancient town to enjoy various recreational activities and sample some seafood delicacies.

If you decide to take a deckchair during the day, you will be asked to purchase a drink, a baguette or some pineapple, otherwise you must pay for your seat. In the palm-flanked road bordering Cua Dai Beach, you will locate several large seaside resorts where lodgings created in traditional Vietnamese style are available.

At weekends, the fine sands of Cua Dai Beach are quite popular with local people but are fairly deserted at other times. This incredibly long beach provides lots of room to wander away for a bit of private space that is often difficult to find in Vietnam. During the full moon, you can see people strolling around until late at night or having some refreshments or fresh seafood at the several kiosks which line the beachfront.
