Ciater Hot Springs Travel Guide

Ciater Hot Springs are situated between Bandung and Sabung in central West Java. They lie in a lovely mountainous region and feature warm, spring-fed pools good for swimming.

The springs come from Mount Tangkuban Perahu’s active crater and are piped into the pools in the hot springs complex. Ciater Hot Spring Resort is of course the main attraction here and is located amid a large tea plantation. The dissolved minerals within the spring water are said to help cure rheumatism and skin problems, and, at the very least, the warm water is relaxing.

As well as the springs, Ciater Hot Springs Resort has plenty of extra facilities, including tennis courts, mini golf, and various kids games and restaurants, along with loads of bungalows and a camping area. You can also go fishing in the area as well as hiking in the hilly terrain here.

Getting There & Away
