Lang Son Province Travel Guide
Located in Vietnam’s far north, Lang Son province lies at the Friendship Gate (Huu Nghi Quan), a significant transport connection to China. This area is home to several ethnic minorities including the Kinh, Tay, Dao, Nung and Ngai.
The province features some bizarre grottoes, above all the Tam Thanh grottoes close to Lang Son town. The bustling Ky Lua market is a good place for bargains and serves as a meeting point for young people of diverse ethnic groups. National highway 1A links the provincial town with Hanoi.
