Endau is a little town in Malaysia famous for its jungle. It is one of the largest fishing ports on the east coast and sits on the northern tip of east Johor, as well the southern point of Pahang.

Endau is home to the second largest national park in Peninsula Malaysia.

Endau boasts a giant national park area of protected tropical rainforest that spans 870 square kilometers. The Endau Rompin National Park is home to ancient rock formations, endangered animals and birds, rivers and dense jungle, with 26kms of trails winding through the trees.

Not far from Endau town, visitors enjoy swimming, canoeing, deep sea fishing and diving at beaches in the nearby towns. The majority of the town's guests are drawn by the fertile jungle and its inhabitants, which include the rare Sumatran rhinoceros and Livistona Endauensis fan palms.

Travel to Endau - Getting There

Kuala Lumpur International Airport hosts many flights in and out of the country and is a five mile drive from Endau. A four-wheel drive is recommended for the journey to Endau as the terrain is undeveloped and the infrastructure minimal. Local travel agents will organize taxis and buses that will take visitors to a nearby town before getting better equipped transport.
