Dragon Pool National Forest Park Travel Guide

Dragon Pool National Forest Park is located in Guangxi Province, southern China. It is a popular tourist destination because of its natural beauty and abundance of sights. It boasts mountainous terrain and beautiful rivers and waterfalls.

It is home to a number of ethnic groups, although the largest community is the Dong tribe, and is therefore an excellent place to visit if you enjoy learning about new cultures. Other reasons people travel here are to take advantage of the natural beauty spots.

The park is covered in lush, thick forests which are overlooked by imposing mountains forming a natural barrier. There are 24 peaks in total, many of which offer challenging climbs for anyone who wants to take them on.

There are two large lakes within the park which never freeze over - even in winter. On the coldest days of the year, steam can be seen rising from the pools, which adds an air of mystery to the forest.

All of the buildings in the park are made from natural materials and in a traditional style. There are Dong villages which are home to small communities next to pagodas, pavilions and mountain homes. There are plenty of accommodation options and while there is not a riveting nightlife or many daytime entertainment options, this is part of the park’s charm
