Is it Safe to Travel in Brunei?

Question: Is Brunei safe for traveling?

Answer: Brunei is safe to travel around although parts of the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, can be slightly dodgy at night as with any capital. The western border areas can also be a bit tense though harsh punishments fall on those who commit crimes here, deterring crime. Health threats in Brunei include typhoid, polio, and dengue fever, while natural problems include typhoons, flooding and earthquakes.
