Brunei Airports

Brunei International Airport is the hub for national carrier Royal Brunei Airlines. The airport overshot itself in the 1990s, attracting huge losses and having to subsequently slash many flights.

Flights still come in direct from London, although this is the only major connection from Europe. There are no flights from the US and US citizens need to make their way to London and go from there, or transfer from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

Connections can also be made through Dubai, which receives flights for all over the world. Other flights serve Brunei International Airport from Singapore (Singapore Airlines) and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia (Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia).

Brunei International Airport is Brunei’s only airport and is a small facility which is well turned out and comes with all modern facilities, including ATMs, currency exchange, shops and eateries, and a VIP room. Taxi is the best option for getting to Bandar Seri Begawan from the airport.
