Binh Chau Hot Springs Travel Guide

Located to the east of Ho Chi Minh City and northeast of Vung Tau near the coast in Ba Ria Vung Tau Province, Binh Chau Hot Springs is a star attraction in the region that makes a good daytrip from Vung Tau.

The hot springs are situated on a huge 35-hectare site that comes complete with an outdoor swimming pool (which is spring-fed), a mud bath, and spa with massage services. The swimming pool is a perfect 37°C and is loaded up with minerals for soothing the skin and to aid circulation.

Along with the swimming pool and mud bath at Binh Chau Hot Springs are a golf driving range, a kiddy’s playground and a tennis court. There is also a restaurant at Binh Chau Hot Springs as well as accommodation, plus visitors can also go camping here.

Getting There & Away

Binh Chau Hot Springs is 150kms east of Ho Chi Minh City and about 60kms northeast of Long Hai via route 55. Although the road is fairly good, there is no public transport and those who visit do so with a tour or under their own steam via motorbike or hire car with driver. The nearest airport is Ho Chi Minh City Airport, a few hours away.
