Bai Tu Long National Park is an island national park in the far northeast of Vietnam in Quang Ninh Province. It covers several islands and is just north of the beautiful Ha Long Bay region.

There are hundreds of terrestrial aquatic plants and animal species in Bai Tu Long National Park, including rare and endangered varieties on both fronts. These include many fantastic corals and invertebrate animals. Dozens of long-tailed monkeys have also been released into Bai Tu Long National Park after being seized from smugglers.

Bai Tu Long National Park also offers up some stunning land and seascapes, with innumerable stunning beaches and dense forests to walk in. There are also several noted archaeological sites in the region.

Travel to Bai Tu Long National Park - Getting There

There are two main options for getting to Bai Tu Long National Park, including charter boat from Ha Long Bay (a five-hour journey), or by boat from Cai Rong pier on Van Don Island. Hanoi has the closest major airport - Noi Bai International Airport - which is a three- to four-hour bus ride or drive from Ha Long Bay.
